Just For Us!
April 23rd, 2008 by Ang. -- Posted in Bible Study |Today’s Bible lesson was designed for us! While it talks about doing work for God, I don’t think they Mr. Chambers had house cleaning in mind. I think he meant doing the works of God. However, I think that what he had to say today can most certainly be applied to our cleaning.
A worker without this solemn dominant note of concentration on God is apt to get his work on his neck; there is no margin of body, mind or spirit free, consequently he becomes spent out and crushed. There is no freedom, no delight in life; nerves, mind and heart are so crushingly burdened that God’s blessing cannot rest.
It became easier when we enlisted God’s help. We have become more focused on Him in our efforts to get our houses in order. We know that it is only through Him that we are accomplishing this. We have turned our attention to Him and *poof* like magic our lives have become better. Not just our houses but our lives. Good stuff.
