Almost Supper Time

We are having burgers on the grill with sauteed mushrooms and cheese and salad. Nothing fancy but it will be the first grilled burgers of the season and they always taste the bestest! I will probably have to whip something up for a dessert, too. What are you having?

    Ohhhh, man, did we have something good. I took a fresh pork loin and dredged and seared it in butter, then roasted it. I think we had some kind of vegetable and potatoes, too. But I definitely remember that pork loin.

    Oh, that sounds really good. I haven’t had pork loin in a long time. We usually just make chops out of it when it is on sale. That lasts us a good while.

    We are going to get another one Monday and do chops. We had this roast tonight and tomorrow, we will have shredded Mexican pork meat things in a tortilla with cheese and stuff. It’s 1.69/pound for boneless just now, so we can get 3 or 4 meals out of one loin for 16-20 bucks.
