My day should be a fun one once I am ready for this open house. Ralph and friend and maybe Zach are coming around noon. It will be great to have them here!
Mop Floors-grrrrrr! My mop head died last week and I forgot to buy a new one. We mopped on our knees this morning!

Yeah, I know my title is wonky. I’m leaving it.
Today I have the regular stuff, a doctor visit and I need to pack up my laptop for repair. That means I will be on less since we will all be sharing one computer. Boo.

It really stinks when the baby comes to your room at 3:30am. It really stinks even more when she opens the door to your room and hits the dog with the door. It really, really stinks when your are jolted awake by a dog that is whining and a little girl that is scream crying because they scared/hurt each other. All is well except that I have been awake since said incident. So here I am trying to get some blogging done. I am glad I am awake though. We are in a tornado watch until 9am. I am trying to decide when to do my grocery shopping considering that. I may just wait and see how the weather develops and go later in the day. I don’t want to leave the kids home alone with severe weather happening. Also, I need to remind Tom to shut off the furnace. It keeps trying to turn on and we don’t need it on, finally.

Seems to me that ought to fill my day. I know I will need a nap in there somewhere. And I am praying that it rains and the games are canceled.

My mind is foggy and I don’t really want to be awake yet. I ask that You make school go quickly and smoothly for Cass. I also ask that You give her quick hands and a light step today. Father, I want to thank You for giving Cass back herself. It is only through You that this change has occurred. We give You the glory for that! In Your name, amen.

Somehow, I just can’t make myself write “S.H.I.T.” in the titlle field, LOL. Besides, I am not actually happy today, as you already know. Gotta love it, and I am looking at the calendar and saying “no darn way”, but I know this beast. I’m praising God that I at least recognize it now, so I can take steps to maintain some semblance of human decency, LOL. In addition toeh grumps, I have the “just don’t want too”s, so I will probably do just enough of this list to keep myself out of hot water, and the rest I will blow off.

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your wisdom. Thank you for sharing that wisdom with us even though you have to hit us over the head with it most of the time so we get it. We can be so blind and pigheaded when it comes to doing things your way. And when we finally see that your way is the only way we feel so stupid. But you forgive all that. Amen for that!
I lift Cass up to you today for strength and quickness. I ask that you help to keep the PMS monster at bay today. That ugly thing is raising its head and I know that during that time Satan is just waiting to pounce. I ask that you push Cass behind you and protect her from the assault. You are working mighty things in her and Satan has no business undoing them.
Thank you for the blessings that you will rain upon us today. In Your name, amen.
