I abbreviated my daily schedule because I know that most of it won’t get done today. Tomorrow the kids and I will hit the house hard. My open house is Saturday so I have to make sure the house is in good shape.
Dear Father,
I seem to be out of words today. My mind seems all muddled and unsure of what to pray. Lord, you know what Cass needs today and I ask that you give her that. Thank you for today even though it is a day that I wish were over already. In Your Name, Amen.
Top of the morning to ya! Today is a normal day for me, except I am going to eat with my folks tonight. I’m hoping to get through my list today, but…….enh, we do what we can. Yesterday, it took 5 hours for school, not the three I allotted, so that’s the way it goes.
Also. I am ready for a nap!

Lord, thank you for this day. It’s wondrous, as they all are. I thank you for the opportunity to serve You by serving others. That’s a monumental gift, and I think we often fail to see it. We get tired, and it’s so easy to forget that when we persevere in “doing the next thing”, we bring glory to You.
Be with Ang. today as she goes through her tasks. Teach her as she teaches her children. Help her to enjoy Melina’s picnic, even though we both find it extremely inane that the end of year picnic is a week after school let out.
Father, we thank you that Guiness was not seriously hurt yesterday. Help him to get over his grumps before he hurts someone. In Jesus Name, Amen.
Yep, it’s back to the grind here. It won’t be real bad since I had the kids clean it up yesterday. I figured it was the least they could do after dh were out in the blazing sun taking down the tents and folding them and such. After we were done with that, we took a shower. That was almost as much fun as the camping
Usually, I do my bedroom on Tuesday, but since we only spent half a week inside, I am going to do the bathroom instead. We used it just as hard as ever, LOL.
I’m a little nonplussed that I didn’t get any knitting and only a few pages of reading done of reading done this weekend. I thought I’d have more free time.
My computer will be leaving me sometime this week, so I need to transfer some files to dh’s machine. He’s set me up with an account and downloaded the programs I like to use. Heh. Maybe I can read while it is gone.

Lord, be with Ang. today as she goes about her tasks. Help her to get her work done with the children, and to be able to enjoy this time while they are home. Hmmm, I might pray that same thing for myself, Father. It gets tiring here in the trenches.
Lord, fill her house with fun and laughter, and the satisfaction of work well done. We love You, and we praise You. We thank You for your good gifts, for loading us daily with benefits. Amen.
I have one or two things from yesterday that are must get dones today. It is cool and rainy again today so staying inside to get work done shouldn’t be too hard to do. It’ll be good to get back to normal after the long weekend.

Make Rhubarb Jam-started it didn’t realize that the sugar and rhubarb has to sit overnight.
This should go quick with the kids’ help. I am thankful for that!
Dear Father God,
I don’t know what exactly will be on Cass’s list this day. I know that she too faces getting back into the routine after a long weekend with the family. We cherish those times, Lord, but they do put us behind! Bless Cass with strength, leadership, wisdom and fortitude today. May she keep You in the forefront of her mind and with every task. In Your Name, Amen.
