The happy day 5/22/2008

May 22nd, 2008 by Cass -- Posted in A Merry Heart, Fat and Wrinkles, To-Do List |

Today, my husband informed me that this day is “s.h.i.t” OR, So Happy It’s Thursday. I had just woken up, and it took several iterations before I got it. So, hey, Ang.! SHIT!

Also, I need to write sentences:
I will not forget my dairy.
I will not forget my dairy.
I will not forget my dairy.
I will not forget my dairy.
I will not forget my dairy.

I lost two pounds yesterday, and the only real difference is that I ATE MY DAIRY. Here’s what I have going on, and you are not here yet, but I have time to pray, so scroll down for that. Heh, this getting up thing is pretty nice.

Dear Lord, it’s a new and big day at Ang.’s house, the first day that the kids are out of school. Lord, let them have some fine times this summer. I know there is much work to be accomplished with the garden and the animals, but I also know that many hands make the work light. Help her to teach the children to help her, cheerfully and thoroughly, so that they all have time to play together. I have no idea what her day holds yet, but You do. Guide her through it calmly and efficiently, Lord.
In Jesus’ Name
Amen

  1. Ang. Says:

Oh, yes! Cheerfully and thoroughly would be so delicious. Truly!

  2. Ang. Says:

And SHIT to you, too. :)

  3. Ang. Says:

    Father,

Despite our humanness you still love us. That is the most amazing thing ever! I ask that you guide Cass in her day. I ask that you continue to bless her effort to lose weight. You only gave us one earthly body and we are both trying to make that body healthier. We can accomplish your work so much easier and better with a healthy body, Lord! Give Cass strength and fortitude today as she works to praise you through her work.

    Amen!
