I purpose

to provide a meal plan for my family of three healthy meals and one snack per day. This includes my husband, even when he is away from home.

    Only 1 snack? Not sure we could do that here. We have always had 2 snack times. Midmorning and midafternoon. Are we just strange? LOL

    nope
    But we eat between 8-9 and again at 12, snack between 3 and 4 and dinner at 6. Dh and I have another snack in the evening, but the kids start going to bed at 8. Not sure when I could fit another snack in.

    Okay, you eat breakfast later than we do. Most of us are doing eating by 7. So a snack is imperative in the morning.
