S.H.I.T.

Just cause that makes you giggle. :) It feels good that I have no garden produce to deal with today. That means I can focus on some stuff that did not get done yesterday. Which happens to be a whole lot of stuff.

Clean Bathrooms
Living Room
Dining Room
Kitchen
Bathe Dogs-1 Down, 1 To Go!
Go To Town For Milk
Hit Garage Sale For Canning Items
Call Vet To Price Frontline For Dogs-Looked On Ebay Instead
Laundry, Never Ending Laundry
Finalize Allison’s Party
Clean Shelf For Canned Goods

That’s my day. My throat still hurts and I didn’t sleep well so I hope I can make it through the day without a nap. Naps take up too much of my time and I would like to not feel the need to take them. It is such an ingrained habit from growing up that it is hard to break.

Also, if we keep this format there is no need for categories. Just a thought.

Because I found this so interesting in my quest about peas and beans, I thought I would share.

“Many edible beans, including broad beans and soybeans, contain oligosaccharides, a type of sugar molecule also found in cabbage. An anti-oligosaccharide enzyme is necessary to properly digest these sugar molecules. As a normal human digestive tract does not contain any anti-oligosaccharide enzymes, consumed oligosaccharides are typically digested by bacteria in the large intestine. This digestion process produces flatulence-causing gasses as a byproduct.

Some species of mold produce alpha-galactosidase, an anti-oligosaccharide enzyme, which humans can take to facilitate digestion of oligosaccharides in the small intestine. This enzyme, currently sold in the U.S. under the brand-name Beano, can be added to food or consumed separately.”

Well, you get up early so I see no problem with a nap. But that’s just me.

I think I am going to keep my day pretty simple. I will have the bigger kids help with the little kids, and I will go through craft stuff. Frankly, your day looks good from that perspective. But, once it is done, it is done, and I will know the monster I face, and that is a good thing.

Caroline will be here around 10:30 for us to look at some VBS stuff for the kids ministry we are starting, and my mother may be coming with peas (which you call beans), too. I plan to persevere despite the other plans I made for the day, because it will hang over me until I do.

Beano is mold. Gross. Now I am glad that I have never taken it. I just release silent but deadlies if I can, and giggle a bit if I can’t.

I may just nap now before I really start my day. Seems better than breaking up my day and then not feeling like doing anything after my nap.

I am not, unfortunately, an SBD gal. Tom on the other hand is and had made me gag on more than one occasion.

    A look at my issues:

Well, the van needs a new battery. It starts a little hard and the rmp and speed-o-meter does not work. Exactly what happened the last time we needed a new battery. I guess that was probably about 3 years ago. I guess I know what my next pu2b paycheck will go towards.

  8. Ang. Says:

Also, you need to turn your aim back on. :)

  9. Cass Says:

Also, I thought it was you.

Behold the cross-stitch stuff. How did you know I had so much? I had no idea there was this much. And this isn’t even the mags and such!

  11. Cass Says:

    Boo hiss on the battery!

  12. Cass Says:

I had to put the scrapbooking stuff under the bed :(

We are going to bed. Night.
