July 29th, 2008 by Cass -- Posted in ChitChat |I am using my notebook again today. I futzed with layouts last night, and I think I have it like I want it. We’ll see. But I already know what I am going to blog about today, so that’s cool.
If I get to blog. My mother is coming with major produce today, so who knows what will get done! When I get done here, I plan to clean my room real fast (that’s today’s chore) and then power through whatever else I can get accomplished before she gets here.
I’ll hold off on more of Job until you get a chance to re-read Job 5. I’d rather stay together, I think.
I know this is a little disjointed, but I am in a rush. Sorry.

So my corn is all worked up and in the freezer. Tomorrow we HAVE to clean. Thursday I will work on some apples. Tomorrow I will try to get the cukes in the fridge pickled and see if there are some more green beans to pick. Surely there are but I haven’t even looked out there. That is a job the kids can do while I mop my disgusting floor.
Did I tell you that I had to buy yet another mop? Every time I buy a mop and then go to buy a replacement head I can’t find one for that particular mop. So this time I bought the mop and a replacement head. At least I am set for a while.
The rest of today will consist of laundry. Mama is out of clothes including her delicate underthings. So I must do laundry. It will feel good to sit and do something mostly mindless and by myself for the rest of the day. Having 4 kids help with the corn was a blessing but I am ready to have some me time. Or me and the laundry time anyway.
