Four stores, one gas station, three hours or less! It feels like a reality show some days. At least, I don’t have to go to Walgreen’s this week. That adds a whole lotta time onto my run for some reason. I think because I get sucked into all of their sale stuff and I look at everything. The farm store used to be that way. But if I let myself look there, then I always end up spending at least $50. And that is not good. So now I go to the poultry area get my feed and leave.
Lord, bless Cass today as she pushes through her day. And also, keep reminding her to notice those blessings. Just a little nudge in the back of her brain to remind her that despite what she doesn’t have, she is greatly blessed! In Your name, Amen!
Short prayer but I just realized the time. I need to get myself together and get out of here.

I know! I like Friday. Well, most of it. And thank you for the prayer. It was so nice yesterday to be able to spend time with the kids.
Lord, please be with Ang. as she shops fast and furiously. That’s quite an impressive feat! Helpher to find good deals to stretch the money.

I have the regular blogging work, and school and I want us to really spruce up the kitchen today. Also, I want to start re-sorting that craft stuff, so it doesn’t look so precarious there stacked in front of the bench.

Shopping is done! Tom’s check was more than I expected so hopefully I will be able to contribute to the trip fund as planned.
I am now decompressing and eating lunch. Then I am going to do a whole lot of nothing. Well that isn’t entirely true. I will probably work on finishing up the laundry. And maybe watch a movie with the kids. Otherwise I plan on blogging and maybe looking into Squidoo. I started that a while ago and never finished it.

Glad you’re shopping was successful. Listen, I am seriously thinking about going to a 4 day school week with the kids, so I can have a day to do internet work. What do you think?

So my broody hen has 11 more eggs under her than she started with. She has been rolling other hens’ eggs under her. The kids were supposed to be taking out the extra eggs but haven’t been. I candled them all and they all have a chick in them. But not all at the same stage. So I am trying to see if a neighbor has an incubator that the younger eggs can finish growing in. Life is so exciting.

I think that is very doable and much needed for you to make some money. You will just have to figure out what your kids will do all day so they don’t bother you. YK?

Do you want to give up the chicks? Could you rent the incubator from her?
Yeah. It’s not so much that they bother me….. Well, yes it is. They interrupt me. Hm. But maybe if it’s just one day per week…. Maybe Wednesday?? I dunno, but… yeah. It will be better than all day every day, ykwim?
Especially if I can hit it heavy and pre-write the content for my non daily blogs.

Yep, it could really cut down on the time you take out each day to do your work.

I am missing a sandal. And of course no one has seen it. One was in the sandal drawer and the other is no where to be found. Now my sandals don’t usually go in the drawer because I only have one pair and I wear them a lot. So someone put one in the drawer and who knows what happened to the other!
