    So here I finally am.  As you know I am off today, but I have a bazillion and three things to do.  Let me just start a list:

    read Bible
    go to bank
    piggly wiggly job
    clear couch
    364 loads of laundry3 done
    tidy my room
    clean the kitchen
    decide what I want to cook
    get the ingredients for supper
    cook it
    pay the water bill
    make lesson plans
    school
    keep my fast
    shower
    read for pleasure
    do something creative
    pack Alli’s box
    take Alli’s box to the PO
    two links
    decide a blogging plan
    look at my goal list for this year and get back on it

    I realize there is no way in haystack I will get all that done, but I needed to list it for a couple of reasons: first, a mind dump, and second, to remind me not to sit here wasting a bunch of time today.

      I feel less tired today but still lack any real motivation. Today I plan to:

      Chores
      Shower
      Vote
      Finish up laundry
      Dishes
      Start to declutter the pie safe
      Call Cackle Hatchery

      This should keep me busy most of the day. It is sort of sad that a list so short would do that.

      Yeah, some things are just time sinks. Hey, did I tell you I bought a rose? And planted it? I want four more, and they are going in front of the house. Five would be one for each grandparent and one for my dad. Is that morbid? I love a rose.

      I think that is a fine reason to plant. Roses take some work. I have 2 roses and they do better when I actually fertilize them. I haven’t done that for several years though. Maybe this year I will pay more attention to them.

      I am thinking different colors for each one. And for some reason I chose that white JFK for Grandmother, even though her favorite color was red.

  • 4.Read on purpose: specifically, get through the secondary TBR pile on the shelves behind me. In accordance with this, I am binnng them and they will be treated as craft supplies.
  • 5.Play tourist in my own hometown. Go to at least 6 local tourist-y things.
  • 6.Plant climbing roses around my front porch.
  • 7.Learn to spin.
  • 8.Add to this house. Or move.
  • 9.Get through my to-do list.
  • 10.Plant morning glories and moonflowers.
