Rainy Thursday

Yep, we are finally getting some rain. August has been typically dry so today’s moisture is welcomed! So today I plan on whipping through the downstairs rooms. It shouldn’t take long to do since I don’t have to stop to read or play or switch channels or start a new computer game. I also need to put away the remaining baskets of clean laundry. It feels good to have the laundry caught up! I am on incubator watch today. I have no idea if this chick is even alive inside the egg. This is nerve wracking! Also, my tooth is really hurting. I took some ibuprofen but if it continues like this I am going to have to make a dentist appointment. Ouchy!

A Camel Named Sally

So today I will make salsa this morning and take a shower. Because this afternoon I have to run to town for milk and chicken feed. So my day isn’t going to be too exciting. And I also need to do some cleaning. I should have a bit of time in the morning to squeeze some in.

And the bus just got here 10 minutes earlier than yesterday. I guess we had better figure before 7:30 for tomorrow!

So that is my day. Oh, I did read Job 7. And like the earlier chapters it just eludes me! I hope you got something out of it.

Tuesday News

Not like I have any news, but it just sounds good, HA! I’ve got my day lined out for the most part, and I’m about ready to charge through it. Today is my bedroom and Drama’s bed. Also, it is time to color the hair. Refresh my red. Let out my inner firechild. And it’s Tuesday.

I did my Bible reading today, and I will be posting about that later on musings, but it reminded me that I meant to ask you about continuing with Job. How do you feel about that? Do you want to continue, or do you want me to go to Sam’s and pick us up a couple of those studies that I told you about? Or do you want to do another book? Or continue with Job now that you have some p&q?

Speaking of p&q…..I really want a laptop that I can take into my room. WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Also, I know there is no rush on the blanket. I just wanted to let you know that I wasn’t mailing it when I said I was going to.

Good Monday Morning!

Well, good morning! I know your kids are all off to school, and you are enjoying your first day of freedom in FIVE WHOLE YEARS. I am glad that you get to spend at least part of it with Tom.

I’m enjoying some freedom, too, but mine is different. Today I am free in the sure and certain knowledge that I must work. Everyday, except one per week. The tasks will be different, and I have to relax and deal with that, but there is always the work. Yeah, that is freeing, even though it may not seems like it.

This morning, I have laid out my book through the 29th, and I have read a chapter of Proverbs. Dh and the older girls are off to the hospital for blood draw and xrays. He didn’t have calls this morning, so he said he would take them. That was good, because Mama called and will be here this afternoon with beans. That means, I need to hurry up and get my cleaning and schooling done, because I will be tied up this afternoon.

And then there is practice tonight.

I did not pack up Belle’s blanket. I don’t have the money to mail it today, I do have more yarn to put in it, so it just makes sense to keep on stitching!

Ok, that about wraps it up from here, I think. Get chatty when you can, becasue the likelihood is that we will miss one another on IM for most of the day.

Hey! Guess What?!?

God provided Spidey some real nice shouldre pads!  Another parent ended up with more sets than they needed, and asked me if we could use them. Yay!!!!

Also, I am spending the weekend working on this blanket for Belle.  I will be calling it done and packing it up tomorrow night.  Who knows when I will mail it, but it will be packed  and ready.
