When I take my walks, each lap is .85 mile.
Did you know that using your cell phone as a mouse is not effective?
If you have read our tagline up there under the title of our blog, you may have wondered why it says one mind, two bodies, 1000 miles apart. Cass and I have always thought the same. Since the day we met we found ourselves typing similar sentences at the same time during our conversations. Here is a perfect example that happened just now,
AngKM67 (7:03:24 AM): karly is a disorganized mess when it comes to school.
CassKnits (7:03:31 AM): ahh
AngKM67 (7:03:35 AM): and i blew up at her this morning.
CassKnits (7:03:42 AM): well, thats something we know well, isnt it?
CassKnits (7:03:47 AM): ahhh
AngKM67 (7:04:00 AM): i suppose you are right.
AngKM67 (7:04:14 AM): i had not thought of it in that respect.
AngKM67 (7:04:32 AM): but it is also her personality to be air headed and disorganized.
AngKM67 (7:04:50 AM): it worries me actually.
CassKnits (7:04:51 AM): Well, God made her that way
AngKM67 (7:04:53 AM): i know.
CassKnits (7:04:59 AM): you arent ever going to be able to change it
CassKnits (7:05:15 AM): BUT you can help equip her with tools to overcome it
AngKM67 (7:05:16 AM): no. but she does need to have some tools to work with it.
AngKM67 (7:05:20 AM): stop it!
CassKnits (7:05:23 AM): dang, stop it
CassKnits (7:05:42 AM): ok, well, obviously we can stop discussing this then!
CassKnits (7:05:45 AM): hahahhahahahhaha
AngKM67 (7:05:49 AM): apparently!
AngKM67 (7:05:51 AM): LOL
Notice the time stamps on those bold lines. That happens ALL THE TIME! So while we live 1000 miles apart in 2 separate bodies, we do have the same mind.
If we didn’t know any better, we would think we were twins separated at birth.
Hunh. Did you know that denim is being used as insulation? Also, shredded newsprint, and mineral wool. I always knew I loved denim, but I just thought it was for wearing.
Ang. and I seem to have given collective birth. To a blog of all things! Can you believe that? It started out real innocent. We were talking about how we spend too much time in chat and not enough doing the other stuff we need to do. The thing is, we’re both working on our blogs and our families and our hobbies and all that stuff, and when we sit down and chat, the day gets away from us in a hurry. So, really there oughta be a way for good friends to keep in touch throughout the day without both having to be at the keyboard.
And so, because I am a domain ho, I checked to see if our name was available. Yeah, I said “our name” because we have been called CassAng. repeatedly. We’re just that tight and just that alike. And the name, it was golden, ya’ll. Ready, waiting, ripe for the picking. So! $19.99 and a oneclick wordpress install later, here we are! Here’s what I looked like not long after we realized what was going to happen here:
Umm yeah, I usually wear makeup. And I often get dressed. But it had kinda been one of those days, if you know what I mean.
Anyway, how is this thing gonna work? I knew you’d be asking. Mostly, it will be Ang. and me talking to each other, just like we always do, except we’ll do it here instead of IM. And we’ll use the posts and comments to keep the conversation going. And, hey! You are welcome to jump in, too. After all, what’s the point of chatting right out in public if won’t let others join the fun?
We have some fun ideas built around the kinds of things we seem to talk about most. We have “Did You Know?” because we often find out some interesting tidbit and share it. Ang. likes to say she is full of useless knowledge, and I concur. I mean, I am too. Yeah, that’s it.
Then we have “Pick a Picture” because we both fire off lots of shots. Once a week, we’ll each show you one. I have no idea what day that will be yet, because there isn’t a day that starts with P. Too bad. Yep, you guessed it, we love alliteration.
Then there’s the “To-Do List”. Ang. and I used to pray together in the mornings over our lists, but now we aren’t always at the computer together so we don’t do it. We both miss it, and we figure by posting our lists here, the other can come along and pray and post their list, too. See, she’s an early bird and I am a night owl. It’s just about the only difference between us. It works out, though, because no matter what time of the day or night you need us, you are likely to find a CassAng. on duty, LOL!
And, oh by the way, “What’s for Supper?”. We both like to cook. In fact, just today Ang. read my Rice Stuffed Chicken recipe, and told me about another wonderful way to cook chicken (she’ll either edit this post or leave the link in the comments once she has it.)
Finally, “You Gotta See This!” Umm, we share websites, too. Just sayin’ and ’nuff said on that.
Ok, I think that about covers it. I sure am windy, aren’t I? I’ll let Ang. know this is ready now, and it’s probably the last post you’ll see here directed at you, the reader. Comments are a different animal of course. Did I leave anything out? I’m planning to let Ang. tell you about how we’ve both fallen in lurve with the WP 2.5 back-end and are planning to upgrade ASAP.
Oh.
Darn.
Oops.
